Staff at a popular Mossley soft play centre have issued a safety warning, after empty wine bottles were found in the children's toilet.
Tumbles Play Place, situated on Manchester Road, has reminded customers not to consume alcohol on the premises, describing the recent incident as 'irresponsible and completely unacceptable'.
Taking to Facebook, they said: "[Our] first and foremost priority is the safety of our customers. Leaving glass bottles in areas such as the toilets, where children could potentially have unsupervised access to them is a safety issue."
It was also added that the soft play centre doesn't have a licence to sell alcohol, nor do they allow booze to be consumed within the venue and therefore this is not covered by their risk assessments and insurance policy.
They highlighted that as a result of this, any potential claims due to injury as a result of alcohol use would be void.
The post continued: "As a business, we are obliged to have rules in place to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff and we will continue to enforce these. We would be extremely grateful if all visitors could adhere to the rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all."
