An exhibition celebrating a new calendar that shows Tameside at its very best launches next week.
The Through the Seasons 2025 calendar features a dozen images captured by local photographers from places across the area, including the frozen Huddersfield Narrow Canal in Stalybridge for January, to the Hartshead Pike Tower being bathed in the Northern Lights during October.
This will be the 3rd year of the calendar, which is organised by Tameside Council alongside Tameside Community Champions, and all winning snappers have been invited to the bash.
Due to be unveiled by the borough’s Civil Mayor, Cllr Betty Affleck, alongside Cllr Hugh Roderick, the free gallery runs from 11am on Monday February 3 to Monday March 17 at the Local Studies and Archives Centre on Cotton Street East in Ashton.
