Police are investigating after a man in his 40s was seriously assaulted at Hyde bus station in the early hours of the morning last weekend.
The man was badly assaulted and required urgent medical attention following the attack at around 00.30am last Sunday (February 16).
Greater Manchester Police believe a number of taxi drivers who were in the area of the town centre at the time may have vital information relating to the incident.
Officers are also keen for anyone with dashcam footage who may have been in the area to get in touch as a matter of urgency.
