Police are investigating after a man suffered severe injuries during an assault in Dukinfield on Wednesday evening (28 April).
It's understood to have happened in the car park of the Active iTrain on Birch Lane.
A large cordon was in place for several hours as officers taped off a section of the road.
North West Ambulance Service said they took a patient to hospital with 'severe injuries'.
Greater Manchester Police say enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for GMP told the Reporter: "At around 1915hrs on 28th April 2021, police were called to a report of an assault on Birch Lane in Dukinfield.
"Officers attended and established a male adult had been assaulted, he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
