The M60 was closed anti-clockwise this morning after a crash involving multiple cars.
The incident happened at around 8:10am this morning (Saturday 10 April).
Both the police and North West Ambulance service are at the scene dealing with the crash.
Traffic is being held while crews deal with the situation.
Greater Manchester Police say that seven vehicles were involved in the crash.
It took place between junctions 25 and 24 anti-clockwise close to Stockport.
Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, however North West Motorway Police later stated that a number of occupants had received minor injuries in the incident which had in fact involved 11 vehicles in total.
The motorway closure has since been lifted.
