Conservative councillor Dan Costello is holding a community litter pick on the first Saturday of every month in his Ashton Hurst ward.
The next one is this Saturday (1 July) at 10am.
People wishing to take part should meet at the Hurst Cross Monument.
All litter picking equipment will be provided.
Cllr Costello says he's also discussed support for a self-organised community group to do regular picks to keep the area tidy.
For more information, contact Cllr Costello by emailing dan.costello@tameside.gov.uk or call 07760 557963.
