Curzon Ashton striker Ryan Brooke has signed a deal with Mossley.
The Nash favourite, who re-joined the club for a second spell last season, made the switch to Seel Park on Tuesday evening.
He drops down two divisions but joins the Lilywhites after a terrific season in which they just missed out on the playoffs. Dave Wild's side also faced Curzon in the Manchester Premier Cup Final, but were beaten 3-1 despite a great attempt. Brooke scored Curzon's opening the goal in the clash.
Of the signing, Wild told Mossley's media team: "We've identified the fact that we need to score more goals this season - that's no disrespect to the current front line because most fo them, if not all will be staying. Year on year you have to assess targets and areas of improvement, and Ryan certainly fits the bill. He was involved in a promotion season at Curzon Ashton a few seasons back at this level, so we've brought in real experience, a goal threat and a massive character."
