An extra-special letterbox has appeared at Dukinfield Town Hall, just in time for the festive period.
The red box, which will send children’s letters directly to Santa Claus at the North Pole, appeared in the building last week.
Children who want to write to Saint Nicklaus are asked to make sure that they post their letters off before Friday 10 December and to include their address, as they might receive a reply from the big man himself.
Dukinfield Councillor Jackie Lane has assisted Father Christmas with the task and says that she’s looking forward to receiving plenty of letters as they do every year.
