Laurus Ryecroft Sixth Form has proudly announced the outstanding achievements of its Year 12 students in their inaugural AS Level results, setting a strong precedent for the future.
The results reflect the hard work and dedication of both students and staff, marking a significant milestone for the newly established Sixth Form.
In Further Mathematics, an impressive 83% of students achieved the highest grade attainable on the course, which is an A Grade. Equally noteworthy, Core Maths (Level 3) also secured a 100% Pass Rate.
Miss S Bridge, Director of Sixth Form, expressed her pride in the students’ achievements.
"These results are an excellent foundation for our Year 12 cohort and a pre-cursor to what we can expect from our first full set of A Level results next year. We are immensely proud of our students and look forward to welcoming them back through the doors in September to all the near future has in store.
"These results are a reflection of the strong partnership between students, teachers, and the broader school community. They also affirm Laurus Ryecroft Sixth Form as a nurturing environment where academic success is celebrated and every student is encouraged to thrive."
As Year 12 students prepare to enter their final year of A Level studies, Laurus Ryecroft Sixth Form is confident that it will continue to build on these achievements and set even higher standards in the coming academic year.
For any Year 11 students due to receive their GCSE Results next Thursday (August 22), the Sixth Form are open to existing and new applicants, the registration desk will be open from 10:30am for all external students.
