Curzon Ashton captain Jono Hunt has joined Ashton United ahead of the 2019/20 season in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
Jono, a central defender, has established himself as a fans' favourite at the Tameside Stadium, having impressed during his seven years with the club.
A real leader on the pitch, Jono helped the Nash climb the non-league pyramid and became an integral part of a successful side. He was part of the squad which reached the FA Cup second round against Wimbledon in 2016.
Such were his performances on the pitch last season, Jono was voted as the Supporters' Player of the Season.
He becomes the latest in a long list of players to have signed for the Robins, which includes Gianluca Havern, Connor Hughes - a former Curzon player - John Pritchard, and goalkeeper Jon Worsnop.
