A man from Hyde has been charged with several offences including aggravated vehicle taking, arson and criminal damage.
Tameside's Neighbourhood Crime Team have charged a man with several serious offences.
Jamie Lowndes, 31, of Tawnton Avenue, Hyde, has been charged and remanded in Police custody to appear in Tameside Magistrates court.
He was arrested after using a stolen vehicle to cause damage to another parked vehicle, and then he went on to set the stolen vehicle on fire in Hattersley.
A second male was also arrested and they have been released under investigation.
