As part of their commitment to supporting local families during the cost of living crisis, Hyde Festival Theatre invites families, children and film enthusiasts to enjoy an array of beloved movies licensed by FilmBankMedia at unbeatable prices.
Hyde Festival Theatre, which holds a pride of place in Hyde, Tameside, is a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to showcasing local talent.
During the upcoming half-term holidays, the theatre has announced an exciting cinema line-up for families and film enthusiasts alike. They’re offering a refreshing alternative to mainstream cinemas, with tickets priced at just £2.50 per person on February 15 and 16. With an affordable bar offering refreshments, families can indulge in a memorable movie-going experience without worrying about excessive costs.
"We're thrilled to provide a platform for families and cinema enthusiasts to come together and experience the magic of film," said Daniel Oliver-Grant, Chairman at Hyde Festival Theatre.
"It also shouldn’t cost you a small fortune to attend, especially at this moment in time with the cost of living rising. Other theatres, such as the Opera House in Manchester, offer the same experience but charge a staggering £18 per ticket, which adds up when you have to buy multiple tickets and then consider travel costs and refreshments. By offering affordable ticket prices, we aim to create memorable experiences that enrich our community without breaking the bank."
Featured films to be screened are Super Mario Bros Movie, Matilda the Musical Sing-Along, Trolls: Band Together and the superhit Wonka.
