Four people have been charged following a wildfire at Dovestone Reservoir in July.
Tyler Warburton (18) has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
Toby Wilde (18) has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered, possession of class B (cannabis).
Jake Eyre (19) has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered, possession of class B (cannabis).
Lyreec Bryan-Gavin (22) has been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
They have been bailed ahead of a scheduled court appearance on February 25, 2027 at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court.
These charges relate to a wildfire at Dovestone Reservoir, which remains under investigation. Officers are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry and are seeking to identify any other individuals who may have been involved.
