The new Christmas menu has now launched at The Restaurant At Tameside One for one of the busiest periods for students to experience. Both in the kitchen and front of house can be quite demanding at this time of year and gives a realistic experience to learners of working at a busy restaurant.
The festive menu items includes starters like Treacle Glazed Salmon, Parsnip Veloute and Chicken & Leek Croque. Of course for the mains there is traditional Roast Turkey with sage and cranberry stuffing, Pan Fried Hake or a Sage & Onion Rosti. The final choice to finish includes Chocolate Raspberry tart with salted caramel and pistachio ice cream, local cheese and biscuits or Christmas Pudding served with rum sauce. This time of year is extremely popular so you’ll be fighting to get a place but definetly worthwhile.
It's also worth noting that the bakery is also in full festive swing with Christmas Cakes and Mince Pies with other treats you can purchase available at the bakery counter on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
