A man has been jailed for his part in supplying heroin and cocaine in Tameside.
Damon Oldham, 22, was sentenced to 27 months in prison after pleading guilty to supplying and possessing the drugs when he appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court.
Det Cons Laura Hughes from the Child Criminal Exploitation Team at Tameside carried out the investigation into the county line which identified Oldham and his involvement in the supply of Class A drugs in the Tameside area.
“This was a lengthy investigation which has quite rightly resulted in Oldham going to prison, drugs have no place in the community and officers from Greater Manchester Police will continue to remove these drugs from society and bring those committing offences before the courts.”
Anyone with any information regarding drug supply in the Tameside area, please contact police on 101.
