A 31-year-old man has been arrested in Dukinfield on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, driving with no insurance and possession of a controlled drug.
The male driver was asked to pull over on Victoria Road by PC Martin Jones, Neighbourhood Beat Officer for the Dukinfield ward, due to the manner of his driving.
After conducting a roadside drug test, he tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.
The black BMW was searched and a pot of cannabis was found inside.
The vehicle was also seized for having no insurance.
PC Jones said in a post on GMP Tameside North's Facebook page at around 9.30am on Monday that the man is on his way to custody.
