A vehicle used by The Donkey Sanctuary to transport donkeys, which had been stolen from a car park in Denton, has been found.
The equine transporter had been taken from outside the Premier Inn hotel sometime overnight between Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 April.
The international animal welfare charity reported the theft to the police and issued an appeal to find it.
In good news, the Donkey Sanctuary tweeted on Wednesday morning to say the vehicle had been discovered.
They said: "Thanks to your incredible support, the van has now been recovered. A huge thank you to everyone who helped to spread the word!"
