There’s an ocean theme to the free Tameside Libraries events this half term, with crafts, activities, games and more. Each library has an event, look at the What’s On page via www.tameside.gov.uk/libraries for details.
The ‘Look for a Book’ scavenger hunt also returns to Tameside Libraries for the half-term. Across the borough, families can search for hidden copies of Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae - a new picture book celebrating music and family. Clues will be posted daily on the Tameside Libraries Facebook page, and one lucky finder may even get the chance to meet Corinne herself.
Tameside Council’s Strategic Director of Housing, Environment & Estates, Julian Jackson, said: “We want as many residents as possible to make the most of the fantastic half‑term offer. There are lots of free and low‑cost activities available so everyone can get involved. Make sure you come along and join in the fun.”
