Denton South councillor Jack Naylor has shown he’s a man of many talents by auctioning off one of his paintings for charity.
Entitled ‘Quiet Time’ it’s part of the ‘Masterpiece by Numbers’ range and is based on a work by the American Artist Abraham Hunter.
The framed print went into a 7 day auction, with the winning bid of £100 taking the painting home. Once Gift Aid is applied, the total amount raised for the Civic Mayor of Tameside’s charity appeal fund was £120.
Civic Mayor councillor Janet Cooper’s chosen charities are: Cascade Baby Bundles, Friends of Young Tameside Carers, Tameside 4 Good and the Tameside Scanner Appeal.
