Kings Park Nursing Home threw a Hawaiian themed party to celebrate their longest-serving administrator.
Janice Hemmings has worked at the home in Hurst Cross, Ashton, since its opening in 1991.
Honouring her 30 years of service, staff planned a surprise summer party and live entertainment.
Well-being coordinator at Kings Park, Kayleigh Foulkes, said: “Janice is amazing and looks after us all. We can’t do without her; she knows everything about this place.

“We wanted to have a big summer celebration for her, but also for our residents.
“We care for older adults with dementia and they haven’t had outdoor entertainment for two years because of the pandemic.
“We’d usually have a performer in once a week and live music because it’s best for our residents, so the chance to do that again was a real treat.”
The Kings Park team also gifted hampers to Janice and even hired an ice cream van for the afternoon.
