There was a crash involving two vehicles on Mottram Road in Stalybridge earlier today (Monday).
It happened on the corner of Fern Bank, close to Stalybridge Celtic Football Club's Bower Fold ground, at around 11.30am.
The images and footage here, captured by our photographer Nigel Wood, depict the collision between a silver van and a blue Kia.

Police attended the scene and the road, which was still passable with motorists warned to approach the area with caution, was cleared around an hour later.
The cause of the crash - and whether anyone was injured - is unknown as yet.
