Haughton Green Conservative Club is holding a charity event to raise funds for the Emergency Ukrainian Appeal this Saturday (2 April) - with some incredible prizes on offer.
The fundraiser will go on from 4pm with live performances from singers and bands, raffles, food and a fundraising auction at the Haughton Green Road venue.
It was hoped the event will raise many hundreds of pounds for the appeal, with the donation of a signed Manchester United football from the club’s treble-winning season already securing a reserved auction price of £200, as reported last week.
But since then the whole community has rallied round to the cause to offer some incredible raffle prizes.
These include two nights’ pod camping stay for four, a signed Manchester City shirt, meals out, including a five-course treat at James Martin’s Manchester restaurant, Man Utd tickets, beauty vouchers, bottles of good cheer, and much, much more.
All of the entertainment acts have also volunteered their time for what promises to be a night not to be missed.
