With just a few weeks to go until the Denton-based rehoming centre hosts the much-loved festive event, staff are on the lookout for donations of chocolate and other sweet treats.
Donations they would especially like include bottles for its treats tombola, gifts such as toiletries and trinkets for its traditional tombola.
They are also appealing for dog-loving bakers to make a cake or two for the ever popular café.
Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Manchester, said: “The Christmas Fair is one of our main fundraising events of the year and it’s always a great day for everyone.
“Every penny raised makes sure we can give our dogs everything they need throughout the year, not just at Christmas.”
The event runs from 10am-4pm, and visitors and their four-legged friends will be able to have their picture taken with Santa Paws, there will be gift and craft stalls as well as cake stalls, and games.
There will also be a mini obstacle course for dogs and their owners. Entry and parking are free.
