65-year-old man taken to hospital after hit and run in Mossley

A 65-year-old man has been injured after a hit and run collision in Mossley last night (19 April).

At around 7:20pm a silver Vauxhall Corsa was driving erratically on Manchester Road when he hit the man. The car then continued down the road and collided with a parked car.

Police say that the driver failed to stop at the scene.

Emergency services attended and took the man to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
