A 30-year-old man has been left with serious injuries after being attacked in the middle of a road in Haughton Green.
Both Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service were called to Byron Road at around 5pm last Wednesday [18 December].
He was found on the street suffering serious injuries and, as of yet, no one has been arrested in connection with the incident. A police investigation is underway.
Police and ambulance services both confirmed that the man had been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
