1,015 supporters flocked to Glossop North End AFC on Saturday for the visit of leaders Macclesfield FC in the The Pitching In Northern Premier League West Division.
The Hillmen lost the game 2-1, but the result was insignificant in the end as the attendance gave the club a major cash boost and brought the community together.
