Venue confirmed for all-Tameside final

The venue for the all-Tameside Manchester Premier Cup final between Curzon Ashton and Droylsden has been confirmed.

The pair will meet later this month at Broadhurst Park, the home of NPL Premier side FC United of Manchester.

The clash, which is a repeat of the 1992/93 final, is set to take place on Wednesday April 15 from 7:45pm.

Having knocked out fellow Ashton club Ashton United in the semi-final, The Bloods will be hoping for a similar upset this time around, as they take on a side four divisions above them.

As for The Nash, they will be hoping for a similar result to the 7-2 victory they recorded the last time the sides met in 2023.

Tickets for this year’s final can be purchased in advance, on the Manchester FA website.
