In response Pott Shrigley easily knocked off the winning score of 73/1 (10.3 overs) with Simon Rajwer hitting 50 off 33 balls (including 5 fours and 4 sixes). Pott Shrigley won by 9 wickets. However their success was short lived as, in response, Whaley Bridge could only manage 20 All Out (28.3 overs) as Tintwistle's bowlers struck back, seeing Atley Williams take 3-0 off 2 (both maidens) and Tom Scott take 3-5 off 10 (7 maidens).
