Teams gear up for FA Cup

Some of our teams are in FA Cup action tonight.

In the first qualifying round, Ashton United make the journey to Scarborough Athletic - but no fans will be allowed to attend the game due to Covid-19 and so the game is being live streamed instead.

Elsewhere, Mossley host Ramsbottom United, Hyde United travel to West Allotment Celtic, and Stalybridge Celtic entertain Bishop Auckland.

Ashton enter the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Stafford Rangers in their opening NPL Premier fixture on Saturday, whilst Stalybridge were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Lancaster City, and Hyde United were beaten 2-0 at Gainsborough Trinity.

In the NPL North West, Mossley enjoyed a great start with a 2-0 win over Ossett United at Seel Park.
