Tameside clubs discover their FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round opponents

The two Tameside clubs left in this year’s FA Cup have discovered their possible FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round opponents.

After overcoming Matlock Town on Saturday, Hyde United’s reward is a trip to National League side Tamworth, as the Tigers look to make the First Round Proper for the first time since 2017.

As for Ashton United, a win over Runcorn Linnets in Tuesday’s Third Qualifying Round replay at Hurst Cross would see them host Steve Cunningham’s former side Buxton in the next round.

Both ties are set to be played on the weekend of October 11.
