Stalybridge Celtic have confirmed the re-signing of prolific forward Lewis Rawsthorn, who joins from NPL West champions Bury for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old returns to Bower Fold after a successful loan spell in 2024/25, where he notched 13 goals in 28 games.
Since then, the striker has spent time with NPL Premier side Hyde United, before making the permanent switch to The Shakers last January.
Following his signing, Rawsthorn told the club: “I’m delighted to be back!
“It has been talked about a couple of times since I last played here in 2025, but it couldn’t quite happen.
“I’m excited to get playing back at Bower Fold and can’t wait to see what this season holds for us.”
Rawsthorn becomes the latest addition to a Celtic side that will be gunning for automatic promotion next season, following May’s play-off final heartbreak.
