Curzon Ashton have announced Fleetwood Town loanee Crispin McLean has extended his stay at the club.

The teenage midfielder joined The Nash in August on an initial three-month loan after signing a professional contract with the Fishermen.

McLean has been a key figure for Mark Bradshaw’s side this season, making 10 appearances in all competitions and recording one assist.

Following the expiry of his loan, the Scot will remain at the Tameside Stadium until January.

Speaking following McLean’s arrival this summer, Bradshaw said:

“Fleetwood’s policy of wanting young talented prospects to go out and experience first team football is ideal for both Curzon & Crispin.

“His loan spell in the Northern Premier League last season showed the potential in him and we are happy now to help him progress with the challenge of the National League North and we are excited to see him develop further with us.”
