Despite being relegated from the Greater Manchester Division2B, there were plenty of positives to take from Ashton Cricket Club's 2021 campaign.

The club had plenty of youngsters make the step-up into senior cricket, with some even sampling a taste of first team action.

Ashton are also looking to recruit a player coach for the 2022 season.

We spoke to club representative Martin Frost to get the latest developments at Reyner Lane.
