He's a keeper

Curzon Ashton goalkeeper Cameron Mason has extended his stay with the club after penning a new deal.

After signing for the club in 2014, Cameron trained alongside former goalkeeper Hakan Burton and found it difficult to establish himself as a first team regular.

However, following Hakan's move to Colne in 2017, Cameron has become the number one choice at the Tameside Stadium and has since become a fans' favourite both on and off the pitch.

He spent a period on the sidelines earlier this season having had an operation, but he has since returned to the fold and put in a number of impressive displays to help the Nash to some valuable points - none more so than the 1-0 victory at title-chasing Chester.

He last featured for the Nash in their 0-0 draw at Boston United on Tuesday.

Here's what he had to say to the club about his contract extension.
