FA Cup Joy For Curzon

It was a memorable night at the Tameside Stadium, as Curzon Ashton secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup with a 3-2 victory over Scarborough in the third qualifying round replay.

The Nash will now travel to Peterborough Sports.

Elsewhere, in the NPL Premier Division, Ashton United fell to their third successive defeat at home to Whitby. The Seasiders edged to a 1-0 victory at Hurst Cross. Meanwhile, Stalybridge Celtic tasted another defeat, this time in a 2-1 loss at Radcliffe.

In the Manchester Premier Cup first round, Hyde United were beaten 3-1 at Trafford.
