Droylsden hit for six on Teeside

BetVictor North West: Marske United 6-0 Droylsden

Droylsden found themselves behind after just nine minutes caught out by a long throw which found Johnson whose shot was blocked only for Curtis Round to hit the back of the net with the rebound.

The Bloods had a chance to level on 25 minutes, Jamie Frost set up by Rhys Clooney before shooting weakly wide.

The home team doubled their lead on the half hour mark. Hickman giving away a free kick on the edge of the area, and Maloney finding the back of the net.

A third soon followed, Diego Lattie’s cross field ball being intercepted by Curtis Round on the half way line, running to the edge of the area and finishing brilliantly on forty minutes.

Three minutes later and it was four, Round breaking down the left and finding an unmarked Waters who scored easily.

The second half brought little respite, and within a minute Droylsden had conceded a penalty, Gott giving Thompson no chance from the spot.

On 56 minutes Round got his hat trick, picking up a loose ball on the left and finding the bottom corner for the home team’s sixth.

Round could have had a fourth shortly after, Thompson saving with his legs.
