Dominant Duki secure victory

Gilcyrst Cup Group A: Dukinfield Town 1-0 Royton Town

Dukinfield Town Football Club continued their impressive form in the Gilcryst Cup Group A with a 1-0 victory over Royton Town last weekend (pictured).

Since the group started on Saturday April 3, Adam Ridings' side have won three and drawn one. They beat Old Altrinchamians 2-0 in the opening fixture, before sharing the spoils in a 1-1 at Hindsford.

Duki were scheduled to play Chadderton Reserves on April 24 but the game was abandoned, however they maintained their momentum on Monday afternoon and cruised to a 5-1 win at Old Altrinchamians.

The squad is next in action this Saturday with a home tie against Hindsford.
