The eagerly awaited 2026/27 Northern Premier League fixture list has been released, with several Tameside clubs discovering their fates.
In the Premier Division, Ashton United, Curzon Ashton and Hyde United all begin their campaigns at home, on Saturday August 8.
The Robins host Lancaster City, while The Tigers entertain newly promoted Emley.
Elsewhere, The Nash welcome Alfreton Town to the Tameside Stadium, just a few months on from the dramatic 3-3 draw that saw both sides relegated from the National League North on the final day.
In the West Division, Stalybridge Celtic travel to Runcorn Linnets in a repeat of last season’s play-off semi final, while Mossley start their campaign three days later, with Clitheroe travelling to Seel Park on Tuesday August 11.
A blockbuster Boxing Day is once again on the horizon as Hyde host Ashton, Stalybridge host Mossley, and Curzon entertain newly promoted Avro.
Meanwhile the first Ashton derby of the season sees The Robins visit The Nash on Saturday August 31, with the reverse fixture taking place on New Year’s Day.
Droylsden start their 2026/27 campaign a week earlier, with AFC Liverpool making the trip to The Butchers Arms on August 1.
