Curzon announce Cunningham as new manager

Curzon Ashton have announced former Colne manager Steve Cunningham as the first team manager.

Steve takes over from Mark Bradshaw and will be joined in the dugout by Damien Crossley.

Steve spent six years with Colne, who comepte in the BetVictor North West - two divisions below Curzon - before resigning in April.

Speaking following his appointment, Cunningham said: "This is the toughest job in the National League North but I could not turn down the opportunity to manage this great, family club.

"Damien and I are really looking forward to catching up with the players, staff, volunteers and the club’s supporters and getting stuck straight in."

We'll be speaking to Steve tomorrow night at the Tameside Stadium. A video will follow.
