Clooney scoops Player of the Month Award

Droylsden forward Rhys Clooney has been named as the Bloods' Player of the Month for September.

Clooney featured in six games during the month of September, scoring one goal and receiving two yellow cards.

He helped the Bloods to two draws, one victory and three defeats.

He has since featured in five matches during October, in which Droylsden have drawn two, won two and lost one.

Saturday's game at Tadcaster Albion was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. However, they return top action at Clitheroe on Saturday in the BetVictor North West.
