Ashton's FA Trophy fixture rearranged for second time

Ashton United's rearranged fixture in the FA Trophy against Guiseley at Hurst Cross is now scheduled for Wednesday, December 1.

A statement on the Robins' official website read:

Due to the continued inclement weather in Ashton, with the approval of the FA the following plan has been put in place in order for the tie to be played within the postponement window.

The fixture has now been moved to Wednesday 1st December (7:45pm kick off) due to the Hurst Cross pitch still being unplayable. Ashton United will make an assessment of their pitch on Wednesday morning, if it is unplayable then the fixture will be switched to Nethermoor Park with a 7:45pm kick-off.

If Nethermoor Park is also unplayable then the fixture will be moved to Thursday 2nd December, either at  Hurst Cross or at a neutral venue.

Ticketing information will be made available for a tie at Nethermoor Park or a neutral venue if/when the fixture is switched.
