Police in Lees are investigating incidents involving youths kicking front doors and putting residents in distress.
PCSO Mark Detheridge, from the Saddleworth and Lees policing team, said rowdy youths were kicking front doors on a regular basis from 8pm onwards on most occasions.
He said: “The doors have been kicked with such force that damage has been caused. Some of the victims of this crime are vulnerable and this has caused them distress.
“We are in the process of checking CCTV in the area and investigating these crimes.
“Please speak to your children and make sure they are not involved.
“If you know who is involved or has been a victim yourself, please report this on 101. If you have any CCTV footage capturing the offences/ offenders, please let us know.”
