Officers are appealing for information following an alleged assault in which a man was hit in the face with an object and knocked unconscious at a bar in Oldham on New Year’s Eve.
At around 11.15pm on December 31 on High Street, Uppermill, whilst in the bar area, a man allegedly hurled an object onto another man’s table.
As he went to return the object to the man, it is believed he was hit in the face with it and knocked unconscious.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
