Parents and teachers can get advice in live Q&A

Parents and teachers in Oldham will be able to get advice on how to support children transitioning back to school in September in a live Q&A on Facebook.

I CAN will be hosting it on Tuesday 18 August at 2pm.

It will include how parents can prepare them for face-to-face school attendance rather than on-screen interactions.

A speech and language expert from I CAN - the children's communication charity - will provide advice for parents and educators.

You can ask questions about how to help children cope with face-to-face rather than on-screen interactions, how to help children respond well to timetable shifts, how to help children deal with any worries they may have about their return, and how to help parents support their children to 'catch up'.

You can watch it live on the day at: https://www.facebook.com/icantalk and you will be able to play it back afterwards.
