Tameside magistrates have ordered that a dog will have to be put down if it's not kept on a lead and muzzled while in public.
Toni Johnson, 45, of Drake Close in Oldham, initially denied an offence of having a dog to which section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act applied, but later changed her plea to guilty.
She was fined £80 for the incident which had happened in Oldham in 13 July last year.
She was also ordered to pay £300 in costs to Greater Manchester Police, £150 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Magistrates fined her a further £50 for failing to surrender to custody.
