Oldham man charged with possessing drugs

A 22-year-old man from Oldham has been charged with possessing drugs after police carried out raids at two addresses in the borough. 

Jack Stockwell, of Raleigh Close, has been charged with possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, and being concerned in the supply of cannabis. 

He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court on Tuesday 19 April 2022.

At around 6am on Friday 11 March, officers from Greater Manchester Police's Oldham Complex Safeguarding Team executed warrants at two addresses on Radcliffe Street and Raleigh Close. 

Two men were arrested and class B drugs were recovered.

A 49-year-old man has been released on bail.
