Budding tech scientists at Oasis Academy Leesbrook are celebrating a major win after their innovative idea secured first place in a series of AI related challenges against local schools.
The Year 11 computer science pupils took part in CyberFirst Mega Day at Oldham College and their winning idea around AI powered drones to deliver aid across Palestine to ensure its safe and fair distribution secured them the top position.
To celebrate their win, staff at the Roxbury Avenue School in Oldham, held a celebratory breakfast.

The school thanked Aisha Ahmed and Lewis Adamajtis who took the students and led them to glory, adding: “It's days like today that not only allow them to experience careers and pathways in Computer Science but grow some really important character traits and soft skills that are so vital for the future.”
