A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after detectives spent a number of hours watching video footage and speaking to witnesses.
A number of properties were broken into in the Fitton Hill area of Oldham on December 1, 2025.
Detectives from the Oldham Neighbourhood Crime Team identified the potential suspect after an extensive investigation.
He currently remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Sergeant Jessica Parkin from Oldham’s Neighbourhood Crime team said: “Following an extensive investigation, we’ve been able to make an arrest in connection with a number of burglaries on residential properties.
“We are relentless in our endeavour to bring criminals to justice, and I hope this helps to reassure the people of Oldham that we take reports of burglary extremely seriously.
“We know the devastating effect that burglaries can have not only on the victims but also the community also who should feel safe and secure within their homes.
“We have a male in custody and are continuing with our enquiries."
