Passengers using Greater Manchester’s Metrolink services are being advised to plan ahead this weekend, as track repair works will disrupt services on the Ashton line.
On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April, no tram services will operate between Etihad Campus and Ashton-under-Lyne. Services from Eccles (via MediaCityUK) and Altrincham will run only as far as Etihad Campus during this period.
To help passengers complete their journeys, replacement bus services will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne, serving all affected stops along the route.
Additional disruption is expected on Sunday morning due to further works at Victoria station. From the start of service until 10am, no trams will run through Victoria while essential track repairs are carried out.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has advised customers to allow extra time for their journeys and check ahead for the latest travel information.
