One man was arrested and weapons and drugs seized during a police raid in Newton.
The raid was carried out this morning (Wednesday) by a team, coordinated by officers from the Hyde neighbourhood policing team.
Class A drugs were seized, numerous weapons surrendered and one suspect is now in police custody.
A police spokesman said: "The negative effects of drugs are far reaching and can destroy lives as well as entire neighbourhoods.
"If you suspect someone of distributing drugs in your neighbourhood, report it and remain anonymous via the non emergency police number 101 or via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
"The more intel we gather, the more proactive action we can take."
